Nature provides us with so much but then we abuse nature, we risk disaster
Essay 1: The
base of our existence is nature. Nature comprises of the five elements or
panchatatva that is Air, water, fire, earth and space, which are the basic
elements for human survival. It is the responsibility of human beings to take
care of the nature which gives us food, shelter, oxygen and water. There are
innumerable plants/trees which have medicinal value, nature is also beautiful
which gives us immense happiness when we look around us. If we humans do not
abuse the nature there will be no problems, but if you abuse nature by cutting
trees, polluting the land, water, air by toxic chemicals and pollutants then we
are risking our own lives. There are going to unnatural seasons and calamities
of severe magnitude. It is important and the need of the hour to start taking
care of the nature and utilise its benefits in a proper way. Excessive
extraction such as mining activities, deforestation, dumping industrial waste
in the water bodies must be stopped at all costs. Our existence depends on
nature and when we abuse it or destroy the equilibrium of the nature then we
are risking not just a disaster but risking our own lives.
Essay 2:
Nature is important for the existence of mankind, nowadays we see many
disasters that have claimed many lives, and we brand these disasters as natural
disasters as these are basically earthquakes, tsunamis, and flash floods etc.
but actually these disasters are man-made disasters. Human beings have
exploited and abused the nature in many ways, we have cut down a large amount
of tress, exploited the marine life, killed innocent animals for our personal
gain, and all this can and has led to many disasters. It is time that we all
understood the importance of Mother Nature and protected it for our own survival,
a classic example of human beings protecting nature can be seen during the
chipkoo movement of 1971, we all must take inspiration from the acts of courage
the people showed to save trees in their area. Human beings must follow this
and protect the nature from its enemies. We must do our best in stopping the
cutting down of trees, and raise our voices to stop the indiscriminate
exploitation. Nature if abused can destroy the very existence of mankind,
therefore for human survival it is crucial to protect it all costs.
Essay 3:
Nature is the greatest provider, it provides humans with all sorts of things,
whether it be raw materials or food products, the provider must be protected.
Human beings for their own selfish needs have plundered and exploited the
nature of its resources, the resources which were once perennial are now on the
verge of exhaustion. We have cut down trees, destroyed river beds, polluted the
air and this has resulted in many man-made disasters. An example of manmade
disaster due to nature abuse is the uttarakhand disaster of 2013, although it
looks like the disaster was caused due to floods, humans are the main culprits,
the reason being, indiscriminate cutting of trees resulting in deforestation,
as deforestation causes the soil to lose its holding capacity it results in
landslides, in addition to this a lot of houses were built in the areas which
further depleted the holding capacity, when the cloud burst over uttarakhand,
everything got washed away and resulted in a lot of deaths and property damage.
Therefore, it is necessary that we humans respected Mother Nature and used her
resources in planned and proper manner. This exploitation must be stopped or
else it can lead to the annihilation of mankind.
Essay 4: Nature has to be protected and respected, if
we exploit or abuse its resources then the chances are high that a disaster can
take place. Nature is all giving, peaceful but it can turn menacing and
dangerous if it is not respected. Man has since the beginning of time has always
been dependent on nature for his food, clothing and shelter, now because of the
greed of the Man, nature is in a sorry state, and man has polluted all the
three main components land, water and air. An example could be the oil spills
that occur from time to time in oceans due to the sinking or leakage of oil
carrying ships, this has not just polluted water, but also has decimated the
aquatic life, and many species of aquatic life are now on the verge of
extinction. Humans dump their waste, industrial waste, plastic bottles and
other dangerous pollutants in water bodies and make water undrinkable. Water
crises has become a major cause of concern in many countries, all because there
is very little percentage of fresh water left. Humans cannot survive without
drinking water and this is the reason why we must stop abusing the nature.
Essay 5: Nature gives us everything, food, shelter,
clothing, raw materials, and is a necessity for human survival. It is safe to
say that humans cannot survive without the resources provided by Mother Nature.
Humans have come a long way since their Early Man days, humans initially used
the resources provided by the nature in a controlled and thoughtful manner and
always respected nature for providing them with such resources. But as humans
evolved their needs also evolved and started exploiting the nature, the advent
of industrialization brought a lot of opportunities and jobs but at the cost of
nature. Trees were cut indiscriminately for industrial purposes, this trend has
continued even to this day, humans cut trees, dump industrial waste, exploit
the natural resources and destroy habitats of other species. The humans due to
their misdeeds have faced the wrath of Mother Nature, lot of disasters have
occurred every disaster being more deadly than the previous one. Therefore the
need of hour is understand the importance of nature and taking measures to
protect it. This can be done by planting more trees, dumping industrial waste
in proper dumping grounds, by making strict laws for those who exploit or
pollute the nature, and also change the way of transportation from fossil fuel
driven automobiles to electric vehicles.
